KUALA LUMPUR: Former Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing and former MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat settled the suit between them yesterday.
High Court judge S.M. Komathy Suppiah recorded the settlement.
Earlier, Tiong’s counsel, Datuk K. Kumaraendran, told the court that the parties had reached a settlement.
Ong’s lawyer, Chan Tse Yuen, however, refused to reveal the terms of the settle-ment when asked by reporters outside the court.
The suit was over Tiong’s allegation that he had given RM10 million to MCA through Ong when he was the party’s vice-president.
Tiong was seeking for a refund of the money, which he claimed to have been given as a donation.
